INTEGRITY vs COMPROMISE.

As a youngster, many are the times  we are tempted to say or do something that is wrong but we try as much to resist the temptations and stand firm in our convictions.Thats where compromise and integrity comes in. 

I have come across many situations that needed me to make tough choices in the past. I may have made the wrong decision by compromising and doing something that i came to regret later on. By that i learnt that in the future i should make sure that my thoughts, words, emotions and actions reflect an inner beauty and a sincere love for God, others and yourself. 

We should never compromise our integrity for anything.That should never be in our choices even at the toughest moments of our lives. 

As i wrap up i will just drop some questions of integrity that we should always ask ourselves and some questions of compromise that we should never ask. 

 COMPROMISE            INTEGRITY 

• Are my actions lawful? • Are my actions                                                 loving to others?

• Will anyone find out? • Is this something                                             I’d be proud of?

• Would anyone condemn me? • Is this my                                            highest standard?

• Is this socially acceptable? • Is this in                                  line  with my convictions?

• Are my clothes too revealing? • Am I                                             dressing for attention?

• How can I get what I want?. What is my                                  motive for wanting this?

• Can I get away with saying this? • Would                              this be better left unsaid? 

Always ask yourself the questions of integrity before you set out to do something.
